Motivation Education

This is me at the fish tank my group and I made. We worked hard on it. I am looking forward to the fish being in it tomorrow!

WE MADE ZOO PLANKTON TODAY! It was fun.

We entered a middle school and went in a room.We got in our seats and class started. We learned about zooplankton it was lots of fun. Especially the zooplankton contest. We had to build a zooplankton that will not sink and will not float.Our group won second place at the contest.

Today we made our own fish tanks.To do this we learned how to use a hydrometer. We had to make sure we hade 12-16 ppt of salt.Then we filled and decorated our tanks. In our next lab we made our own zooplankton.We had a test tank to make sure they didn’t sink or float but stay in the middle.When we were finished we had a competition to see whose plankton was the best.After that we had lunch.We were split into 2 groups to eat.Then we had art.Out of packaging paper we made sharks.Finally, we had Tech. and made our blogs. When you weren’t making a blog you were playing a computer game called “Odell Lake” that was about the food chains.

The best Day is fish Day.

Making salt water is good for tanks and fish.

Plankton is the smallest water animal.

Yummy,yummy,yummy seafood is good.

Seaweed is a underwater plant.

Tanks are big and strong.

Underwater cameras are fun to take pictures with.

Plankton lives until the plankton touches the bottom of the ocean or even the bottom of a river.

Plankton has to be just right not to high not to low

We made clay zoo plankton today! We had to make them float and we also made made fish tanks We also made paper stuffed sharks.

Today we made a aquarium so far we put salt water, sand, then we put plants in.

We also made Zoo Plankton and we came in second. We made them with toothpicks, play dough and a pipe cleaners. You had to get to the bottom last, or else you lost!

Today we made Zoo Plankton[a under water organism]We learned about Zoo Plankton and that they do not float up to the surface or they will burn.We also got to build a tank for fish.While we were building the tank we learned how to measure salt water so, the fish that we put in the tank will be able to breath. We also learned if you put soap into the tank the fish will die. In the tank we put plants and rocks so the fish have places to swim.Then we learned that our tanks that we made will go to a breeding group that breed all kinds of fish.We put flower pots in the fish tank, too.We went to lunch and talked some. Then we went to the computer room and learned how to make blogs.And then we are going to make stuffed sharks.

Today we had a lot of fun! We made saltwater tanks for saltwater animals to live in. Ours was the cloudiest! We got really wet and everything smelt like salt afterwards. We also made fake plankton and had a contest on which plankton could sink the slowest. We were in the finals twice! We also had lunch (obviously). Right now we are in technology typing this blog. After this, we will be making stuffed sharks out of paper. We can’t wait!!!!!!!!!

We are the dolphinteers and today we made a fish tank. First, when we built the fish tank, we filled up the bucket with water. Then, we had to measure how much salt to put inside and we put it in. Next, we had to put plants in our tank and added rocks. This is important because real fish are going to go into this tank and if we don’t do it right, they can die. The tanks we made will be put all around the school. Watch for more exiting blogs from the Dolphinteers.
