- Day 1 Our first day of camp with a great exploration of the amazing world of WATER! Then during our morning labs students learned how to test their own water for its quality to hold life. They also began their freshwater aquariums designing their world after Dr. Ron Coleman. For art they cut their stamps out of foam paper. And began their web blogs, here is our first selection...
- Day 2 Today our students got to add Convict Cichlids to their newly created freshwater tanks. They also explored the world of Amazon Pool life with the example of scientist Claudia Dickinson. In the afternoon they finished their Marine Creature Stamps and advanced their skills of blogging. Our day finished out with an introduction to the amazing world of deep sea life, our Aliens of the Deep!
- Day 3 With our fish happy in their aquariums campers began to observe and record their behavior with Fish Mapping. They also got a look into currents, the cold layers of the Ocean and A Whale of a Tale. The historical wonder of CARR's Beach was also taught. Our day finished out with the last of our Marine Sea Creature Stamps and we got to make video blogs. Here they are!
